Student Research Training Program in Kidney Disease
The Vanderbilt Center for Kidney Disease provides the opportunity for 1st and 2nd year medical students interested in kidney disease research, to conduct mentored research during the summer.
Opportuntiies are available to conduct a wide range of different clinical and basic science research projects under the guidance of VCKD faculty members.
Over the course of the Summer, research training will be enhanced by participation in;
In addition, trainnees will have the opportunity to attend and present the results of their summer research as a poster at the National Summer Research Symposium hosted at Vanderbilt.
